Differential detection of common antigens of Plasmodium falciparum antigen and four Plasmodium (P. falciparum, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium vivax) in whole blood samples

Principle of product use

Two different monoclonal antibodies, as well as another quality control antibody, were immobilized on the membrane support to form three different lines. The membrane support is attached to a loading pad that is impregnated with a quality control antibody and an anti-antigen antibody that have been bound to visible particles. The combined membrane support and the loading pad form a complete test strip. The test strip is placed in a book-shaped, hinge-like test card with the elution pad and the absorbent pad. This constitutes a complete rapid test reagent card. At the time of detection, whole blood is applied to the loading pad, and the antigen present in the blood sample is combined with the anti-antigen antibody conjugate. Add the A reagent solution to the bottom of the test strip to allow the antigen conjugate complex to flow along the test strip. The immobilized anti-antigen antibody captures the antigen conjugate and forms a detection line. The immobilized quality control antibody captures the quality control conjugate and forms a quality control line. Once the blood sample flows through the test strip, the test card is closed so that the A reagent added to the rinse pad washes away excess blood from the test strip.
