10 Parameter Urinalysis Reagent Test Strips (50 strips)SKU: RS10/50Category: Urinalysis
Urinalysis test strips are easy to use, cost-effective medical tool that allow for the specific diagnosis and effective treatment of various disease states. The test strips are designed to detect small pathological changes in urine, and provide the result via a colour-change test field.
A strip is dipped in to a urine sample, then using the provided colour chart, the results are matched to ascertain concertation levels of substances within the urine. Test result may provide information regarding the status of carbohydrate metabolism, kidney and liver function, acid-base balance, and urinary tract infection.
Any irregular results should be confirmed with additional laboratory testing of the urine sample.
urinalysis product can test for up to 11 parameters in a single strip, and are provided in canisters of 25, 50 and 100 pieces.
The parameters available include:
Ascorbic Acid
Glucose
Bilirubin
Ketones
Specific Gravity
Blood
pH
Protein
Urobilinogen
Nitrites
Leukocytes
How to use urinalysis reagent test strip
The urinalysis reagent test stripis a test paper for detecting bilirubin, urobilinogen, ketone body, glucose, protein, white blood cells, pH, and the like in urine. When looking at the urine analysis test strip, the urine analysis test strip is completely immersed in the urine. For about two seconds, holding the blank end, the test strip will show some color changes. After waiting for 60 seconds, you can compare the test results of the test paper with the control results of the test paper, mainly by looking at the change in the color of the test paper to analyze the composition of the above indicators of urine.
Urinalysis reagent test strip detection principle
1. pH: The pH value in the range of 5-9 is measured by a pH indicator, and the fresh urine pH of a normal person is between 5 and 7. 2. Nitrite: The reaction is based on the reduction of nitrate to nitrite by gram-positive bacteria in the urine, the reaction of nitrite with p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid to form a diazo compound, the diazo compound and N-(1-naphthalene). The sodium 3-aminopropane sulfonate combination exhibits a pink color. 3. Glucose: According to the principle of glucose oxidase reaction, glucose oxidase specifically oxidizes glucose to form glucuronic acid and hydrogen peroxide. Under the action of peroxidase, hydrogen peroxide oxidizes the indicator to form a color.
